Xbox Scarlett: The system formerly known as Project Scarlett received a new teaser that showcased the dramatic design of Microsoft’s next-generation platform. It will be available in Holiday of 2020.
The actual machine will be around the same width as an Xbox One controller but much higher; picture square base, rectangle height.
“There’s always this conflict between design and the type of acoustics and cooling and operation of the system,” Xbox’s Phil Spencer told GameSpot, adding, “and we were not going to compromise on function.” “I’m blown away with the design they came up with.” According to the same report, the console will be around three times the height of an Xbox One controller, so you may want to rethink your home setup.

Xbox Series X Setup
We also know that the Xbox Series X will include an NVMe SSD and GDDR6 RAM. Jason Ronald, Team Xbox’s Partner Director of Program Management, told GameSpot, “Today, we have the option of instantaneously restarting the previous game you were playing.” Why can’t you do it for more than one game?
Many gamers want to play many games at once, and being able to bounce back to where I was quickly is something we can accomplish with the platform level to improve the gaming experience. It’s basically about ensuring there’s less waiting and more time spent playing since that’s ultimately what we all want to do with the consoles and services.”

Xbox Series X cost
The Xbox Series X does not yet have official pricing, but considering its high-end specifications, we expect it to be expensive. To put this in context, the original Xbox One and Xbox One X launched for $499.
You will, however, be able to pay for your Series X in installments. The new system will be available through Microsoft’s Xbox All Access program, allowing you to finance an Xbox One S or Xbox One X for as little as $19.99 per month. After making 18 payments, all Access members can upgrade to Series X beginning in Holiday 2020.
Pre-order Xbox Series X
The Xbox Series X isn’t currently available for pre-order, but we’ll update this area as soon as possible. If you join up for Xbox All Access now, you can upgrade to a Series X starting in Holiday 2020.
Specifications for the Xbox Series X
The Xbox Series X remains equipped with a unique AMD Zen 2 processor that boasts four times the power of the Xbox One X. Ray tracing, up to 120fps gaming, 8K resolution, GDDR6 RAM, and variable refresh rate capabilities are all included. The device will also have a bespoke SSD that boasts a 40x speed boost and almost no load times.
Conclusion
The Xbox Series X will accompany a new version of the Xbox Wireless Controller. While it seems to be quite similar to the existing Xbox One controller, the gamepad will include a dedicated Share button for quickly recording screenshots and game clips and a reworked d-pad based on the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller.
